Zepp Nagoya is part of the Zepp live-house company, and caters mostly to larger major bands, as well as acts outside of the Visual Kei genre. Like the other Zepp venues, it has multiple saku set up throughout the live space. Usually second floor is seated instead of standing.
While there is a small train station just across the road from Zepp Nagoya, the easiest and most common way to get to the venue is from Nagoya Station (about a 15 minute walk). You will want to get to the Sakuradori side of the station where the gold clock and Takashimaya are located. This is the opposite side of the station from the shinkansen tracks. Go out the doors on the right of the escalators.
When you're out the doors, angle right and walk past the taxi stands, then turn right again onto the main sidewalk.
Continue heading straight down the sidewalk for quite some time. Keep this spiral-looking building on your left and the opposite side of the street as you keep heading straight. When you reach this big crosswalk, continue straight across it and-- you guessed it, keep going straight. :)
Keep going past the bus terminal...
...until you see this bridge on your right.
Turn right under the bridge and you will see the back of Zepp Nagoya.
The front of the venue is down the street and across the crosswalk to the left. There, you will find the coin lockers outside the venue along with a Seven Eleven and a couple small cafes. If you have more than an hour or so to kill, it's probably best to head back to Nagoya Station, as there are more places to eat and wait around there.
Other Useful Information:
Zepp livehouses give you a rubber drink holder with their PET bottle soft drinks. You do not get these if you order alcoholic drinks, but you can buy them separately if you would like. The designs change from time to time.
As mentioned above, there is only one convenience store next to the venue. Before the live, the line for the bathroom can get pretty long. It's best to hang out around Nagoya Station until closer to start time.
After the live is over, please be aware of the trucks and other vehicles that will be leaving from behind the venue.
If you are traveling to or from Nagoya by night or day bus, there is actually a bus stop extremely close to Zepp Nagoya. In the 7th photo, if you were to keep walking straight past the bridge instead of turning right, you would reach said bus stop. This is extremely convenient if you wish to go home straight after the live.
